I agree - many people don't take enough time to dress nicely anymore. I love casual clothing around the house, but try to look nice when I go out. As for you wearing seer sucker, you clean up nice with it on!

Just had lunch at a very nice restaurant. Too many people came in dressed like they were about to hold a yard sale. I will wear seersucker soon just for the heck of it.

Brought back memories of the fashionable days of long ago, men in seersucker suits, white shirts, ties and a hat always, women wearing matching hats, gloves, purses, hose and shoes --Sunday best of the past. Today's attire has become too casual, I'm the odd one in a group, "different."

A fine Southern gentleman you are, seer sucker or not! But it sure looks nice!

I always went by Clothes and the Man by Alan Flusser, to learn how to dress. However, when I was working in the financial district, in NYC, we always said "never trust a man that wears a bowtie!" Not sure why, but it has stuck with me...and I like seersucker! ;-)

Gotta be cautious with those bow tie fellas!
