This was beautifully written and a touching reminder of how life flashes by and the things we once took for granted often slip away. I know this has been a difficult healing process, but also a necessary one, and I'm so grateful that you are moving forward and getting better each day!

My wish for you is to have many more visits to the shoals and admire the lilies, watch the osprey dive and gaze at the bald eagles nest.

Beautiful writing from a beautiful heart, which I hope is healing rapidly. Spider lilies are one of my favorite plants. Ken and I had them growing along our lakefront. When I moved to Mauldin I brought a few with me. I plan to walk among them in Landsford State Park but never seem to get there.

Enjoy the scenes as you get well.

Landsford is a big place and it is hard to get close to the lilies.

It's a magical and historical place. Best of all, it is so remote few people go there by land. Solitude. My friend, the talented artist, Philip Juras, painted Anthony Shoals. Enjoy! https://www.philipjuras.com/artwork/2009080001anthonyshoals/
